Very smooth and creamy. Dwarf White is a bit translucent, and is perfect for those times when you don’t want much density – if you are making clouds or teeth, for example. Resists boil once brought up to temperature in the softer upper flame. Dwarf has a fine, smooth texture and is not sensitive to atmosphere, but many people like to use a lot of oxy with white boro to reduce the chance of boil.
 
Odd quality rods are visually inspected for forming issues in production. This glass may contain one or more of the followings attributes: off-round, taper, thin, thick, short, or bow.
Second quality rods do not meet visual our inspection standards. May contain one or more of the following: stones, scars, scratches, excessive air content, core, or color inconsistencies.
